- Mary Valley Heritage Railway - Ride the restored 1923 “Valley Rattler” steam train which travels a 40km journey from Gympie to Imbil through the scenic Mary Valley.
- RainBow Beach - spectacular unspoilt beach area renowned for it's coloured sands and the annual Fishing competition.
- Fraser Island - great fishing experiences, four wheel driving.
- Mothar Mountain Rock Pools - A 15 minute drive from Gympie. The rock pools are located in State Forest and provide a pleasant location for activities such as picnicking, swimming and bush walking.
